Former Wilton Woman Found Slain in Killingworth Murder-Suicide, Police Say

WILTON, Conn. – A former Wilton woman has been identified by police as the victim of an apparent murder-suicide in the Middlesex County town of Killingworth, according to a report in the Wilton Bulletin.

Lauren Beebe, a 1985 graduate of Wilton High School, was found dead in her Killingworth, Conn., home on Wednesday, Nov. 25, the victim of an apparent murder-homicide.

Lauren Beebe, 48, and her husband, Billy Newman, 57, were both found dead of gunshot wounds on Wednesday, Nov. 25, in their home, the Wilton Bulletin reported.

Beebe’s death was categorized as a homicide, and her husband’s, a suicide, the paper reported.

Beebe, a 1985 graduate of Wilton High School, had recently filed for divorce from her husband, according to the report. The couple had two children.
