Ladder Used To Break Into Home In Wilton

WILTON, Conn. -- Someone used a ladder to break into a Wilton home and steal electronics on Monday afternoon, police said.

A homeowner on St. Johns Road left their residence at around 12:30 p.m. Monday and returned at 5:30 p.m. to find that the home had been broken into and ransacked, police said. Multiple electronic items were missing from the home, as well as various other household goods, according to police.

Police determined that entry into the home was made through a rear second story window using a ladder. The case is currently open and under investigation.
