WILTON, Conn. – A Wilton man suspected of stealing an iPhone from Wilton High School and trespassing there and at the Wilton YMCA was arrested last Friday by Wilton police.

Police charged Christopher Corvese, 22, of Cannon Road, with third-degree burglary, a felony, as well as two counts of first-degree criminal trespass and sixth-degree larceny, all misdemeanors.

Corvese was the suspect in a burglary investigation after someone reported Sept. 5 that an iPhone was missing from Allen’s Meadows. Complaints were made about Corvese trespassing at Wilton High and the YMCA on Aug. 28, and Corvese was seen rummaging through a student’s gym bag at the high school, police said. Corvese was warned that he was not allowed at either location, police said.

Officers recovered the phone, which Corvese had hidden, after getting a search warrant, police said. Corvese was arrested at his home on a warrant.

Corvese was held on $25,000 bond, according to state court records. He is scheduled to appear Sept. 18 in Norwalk Superior Court.
