WILTON, Conn. – A Norwalk man is facing several charges, including driving under the influence, after being stopped Saturday morning by Wilton police.
Joshua Jimenez, 23, of Bayview Street, Norwalk, was charged with DUI, a misdemeanor; and operating under suspension, failure to display a license plate, possession of less than half an ounce of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia, which are infractions.
Jimenez was stopped at 3:35 a.m. after he was seen driving with no visible registration plate, police said. He was found to be driving under the influence and had a suspended license, police said.
Wilton police also found that the state police had an active arrest warrant for Jimenez. He is scheduled to appear Oct. 23 in Norwalk Superior Court on the Wilton charges.
