The Pink Patch Project is a public awareness campaign designed to bring attention to the fight against breast cancer and to support breast cancer research organizations in combating the devastating disease.

During October, Norwalk police officers wore pink patches to raise awareness, and during the month-long fundraising campaign, the Norwalk Police Benevolent Association and the Norwalk Police Department raised $3,330.

The Norwalk Police Benevolent Association presented the check to the Smilow Family Breast Health Center at Norwalk Hospital on Nov. 21.
