Police: Westport Woman Found Stopped In Road Had Two Outstanding Warrants

Westport police found a vehicle stopped in the middle of the roadway early Monday morning at Hales Court.

About 4:45 a.m., on March 12, police officers were dispatched on a report of a suspicious vehicle. The vehicle was located stopped in the middle of the roadway with two occupants. 

The passenger was identified as Nicole Anastasia, 30, of Westport. Anastasia was found to have two outstanding warrants for her arrest. 

She was arrested and brought to headquarters where she was charged with Violation of Probation/Conditional Discharge and held on $50,000 court set bond. 

She also was charged with second-degree Failure to Appear and held on $495 bond. 

Anastasia is scheduled to return to Norwalk Court on March 22.
