Receptionist At Norwalk Doctor's Office Charged With Identity Theft

NORWALK, Conn. — A Stamford woman was charged with stealing patients' credit card information while working as a receptionist for a Norwalk doctor, according to the Hour.

Rashel Williams, 35, was charged with identity theft, second-degree forgery, illegal use of a credit card and sixth-degree larceny, the Hour reported. 

Police had asked the public's help last month in seeking Williams. Police said that she had taken the credit card and check information from patients while working at the doctor's office.

Williams was held on a $40,000 bond the Hour reported.
