WILTON, Conn. A Stamford man is facing a charge of driving under the influence and two other motor vehicle charges after Wilton police said he was driving erratically on Route 7.
Kellen Freeman, 24, of 189 Farms Road, Stamford, was charged Saturday with DUI, failure to drive in the established lane and failure to signal. Police said Freeman was seen driving erratically while heading south on Route 7 about 5:38 p.m. Police said Freeman was switching lanes without signaling.
Police pulled Freeman over at Route 7 near Wilton Acres, and the officer said he detected an odor of alcohol and found the driver had slurred speech. Police said Freemans blood alcohol level at the time of the stop was 0.163, twice the legal limit for driving under the influence. Freeman was released and is scheduled to appear Tuesday, July 31, in Norwalk Superior Court.

Warrant Arrest: Paul Izzi, 31, of Wilton Avenue, Norwalk, was charged Tuesday, July 17, with two counts of second-degree failure to appear. Police said Izzi was brought to the Wilton Police Department by bail agents on a failure to appear warrant. Police said Izzi failed to appear in Norwalk Superior Court to answer a DUI charge. Izzi was released on $10,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in court on Friday, July 27.
