WILTON, Conn. -- A car veered over the center line on Belden Avenue in Wilton on Friday afternoon, hitting another car and causing both to flip.

A Subaru Forester driven by a 28-year-old Trumbull resident was traveling north on Belden Avenue at around 3:45 p.m. Friday when it partially went over the center line for unknown reasons, police said. It struck a PT Cruiser driving south and flipped onto its driver's side, hitting a stone wall. After hitting the wall, the Subaru flipped onto its roof and came to a rest in the road.

After it was hit by the Subaru, the PT Cruiser veered onto the shoulder and flipped onto it's driver's side and came to a rest in the road.

The driver of the PT Cruiser, a 40-year-old Stamford resident, had to be extricated and was taken to Norwalk Hospital for treatment of his injuries. The driver of the Subaru suffered minor injuries, but declined medical treatment. She was issued an infraction for failure to drive right.
