David Stuart Pollack, 35, of 1366 Randolf Road, Plainfield, N.J., was charged with disorderly conduct and violating a protective order.

He posted his $2,500 bond and was released to appear in state Superior Court in Norwalk on Nov. 28.

Pollack had been under a court order not to harass the homeowner stemming from a February arrest. However, there wasn't a no contact order and he could continue to stay at the residence, said Wilton police Lt. Donald Wakeman.

"He had actually just returned to the residence this past week but had not residing at this residence since July," Wakeman said.

Pollack was upset because he believed the older man had gone through some of his papers, Wakeman said.

"He felt that the victim had come into his room and moved some papers around, messed up his paperwork, whatever he was working on," he said.

Police have been called to the residence in the past, Wakeman said.

"We have had different calls from different people who have resided there," he said.

The 66-year-old man didn't suffer any injuries, police said.
