Wilton Police Charge Third Man In Connection To December Car Burglaries

WILTON, Conn. – A third man was arrested and charged on Friday in connection to two car burglaires in Wilton, officials said.

Andrew Reed Aultman, 36, of Bristol joins Jay Crump Jr.; and Michael Mallardi as suspects in relation to burglaries that took place in December on Rivergate Drive and West Meadow Road in December, police said.

Investigation revealed that a short time after the car burglaries that a victim’s credit cards had been used in Waterbury and Southington. Surveillance footage made Aultman, Crump and Mallardi suspects, police said.

All three men have been charged with multiple counts of burglary and larceny as well as identity theft, police said.
