Wilton Police: NY Man Stole White Strips, Medication From CVS

WILTON, Conn. — A 27-year-old man from Queens was arrested last week on a warrant and charged in a shoplifting incident reported last month at the Wilton CVS, police said.

Akinola Ebanks is accused of stealing $3,500 in merchandise from the store on Sept. 1, police said. The stolen merchandise included Crest White Strips, Allegra allergy medication and Prilosec, a heartburn medication, according to the police report.

Ebanks was charged with third-degree larceny, a felony, and taken into custody last Tuesday while appearing at Norwalk Superior Court on different charges. He was held on a $30,000 bond and arraigned the next day.
