WILTON, Conn. A Wilton woman is facing new charges after violating an order of protection and threatening her mother, Wilton police said.
Jessica Anastasia, 19, of Danbury Road, was charged Monday with violating an order of protection, a felony, and second-degree threatening, a misdemeanor.
Officers were called to the Danbury Road home at 2:29 p.m. Monday on a report of an altercation between Anastasia and her mother, police said. Anastasia violated a restraining order by threatening her mother, police said.
Anastasia was charged Aug. 4 with disorderly conduct after police said she and her mother argued over $80. Anastasia appeared Tuesday in Norwalk Superior Court. According to state court records, she is scheduled to return to Norwalk Court on Sept. 12.
The following items were also reported to Wilton police:
Courtney Roy, 24, of Sherman Avenue, Hamden, was charged last Saturday with driving under the influence, a misdemeanor; traveling unreasonably fast, failure to drive right, both motor vehicle violations; and possession of less than a half-ounce of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia, both violations. Roy was stopped at 2:04 a.m. on Westport Road near Chestnut Hill Road after she was seen traveling 48 mph in a 35 mph zone and crossing the center line, police said. Roy had been drinking and was unable to perform the standard field sobriety test, police said. Her blood-alcohol content was 0.131, police said. She was released on a promise to appear Aug. 21 in Norwalk Superior Court.
Norberto ArriagaContreras, 39, of Cold Spring Street, Norwalk, was charged Aug. 8 with driving under the influence, a misdemeanor, and failure to drive in the established lane, a motor vehicle infraction. Police stopped ArriagaContreras at 9:04 p.m. at Route 7 and Pimpewaug Road after he was seen by another driver swerving all over the road. He had a blood-alcohol content of 0.120 at the time of his arrest, police said. He was released on a promise to appear on Aug. 20 in Norwalk Superior Court.
Julio Perez, 41, of Lincoln Avenue, Danbury, was charged Sunday with driving under the influence, a misdemeanor; driving without a license and failure to drive right, both motor vehicle infractions. Police said Perez was pulled over at about 2:50 a.m. on Route 7 near Old Mill Road. Police said he was found to be driving under the influence and had brushed up against a guardrail prior to his being stopped. Perez was released on $500 bond and is scheduled to appear Aug. 23 in Norwalk Superior Court.
