Crismari Feliz, 42, was arrested Wednesday by Wilton Police on a warrant following an investigation into a report of the money missing from the organization's account, said Lt. Robert Kluk.

The department was notified of the theft in January by the president of the organization after finding $24,008 was missing from the operating account, Kluk said.

An investigation found that Feliz made unauthorized withdraws, using the money to pay for personal credit card bills and car lease payments, he added.

Feliz was charged with felony larceny and was released after posting $25,000 court-ordered bond.
