Congressman Jim Himes Begins Senior Health Care Tour Tuesday

WILTON, Conn. -- U.S. Rep. Jim Himes (D-Conn.) will launch an eight-town tour this month to discuss health care reform with seniors throughout the district.

At these visits, Himes will discuss how the Affordable Care Act has improved Medicare and how health care reform can make health insurance more affordable for those who do not yet qualify for Medicare.

Norwalk

Tuesday, Nov. 5, from 9:40 to 10:30 a.m. at Norwalk Senior Center, 11 Allen Road, Norwalk

Darien

Wednesday, Nov. 6, from 11:15 a.m. to noon at Darien Senior Center, 30 Edgerton St., Darien

Wilton

Wednesday, Nov. 6 ,from 2:30 to 3:30 p.m. at Wilton Senior Center, 180 School Road, Wilton

Monroe

Thursday, Nov. 7, from noon to 1 p.m. at Monroe Senior Center, 235 Cutlers Farm Road, Monroe

New Canaan

Thursday, Nov. 7, from 5:30 to 6:15 p.m. at Waveny House, 677 South Ave., New Canaan

Bridgeport

Friday, Nov. 22, from 2:15 to 3:15 p.m. at East Side Senior Center, 1057 E. Main St., Bridgeport

Weston

Monday, Nov. 25, from noon to 1 p.m. at Hurlbutt Elementary School, 9 School Road, Weston
