Fairfield County Medical Association Recognizes Lavielle

WILTON, Conn. – The Fairfield County Medical Association recognized State Representative Gail Lavielle (R-143) for her efforts advocating for quality health care and integrity in medicine.

Association President, Dr. Robin Gail Oshman presented Lavielle with a certificate stating the legislator’s, “courage and diligence in preserving the integrity of the practice of medicine and protecting the freedom of physicians in Connecticut to attend to the medical needs of their patients.”

“Representative Gail Lavielle has always recognized the importance of issues affecting doctors and their patients. We support her continued efforts to help all of the people of the State of Connecticut,” said Oshman.

Lavielle fought for proposals associated with hospital patient admission and observation status notification.

“It is an honor to be recognized by this prestigious organization of health care professionals and medical practitioners,” said Lavielle.

The Fairfield County Medical Association, a not-for-profit organization composed of 2,000 Fairfield County physicians, is a professional membership representing every medical specialty and practice setting as well as medical students, interns and residents.
