Norwalk Incumbents Victorious In Tuesday's Election

NORWALK, Conn. – State Sen. Bob Duff was among the Norwalk winners in Tuesday's election for local, state and federal races.

In the state Senate race for Norwalk’s District 25, Democratic incumbent Duff defeated Republican challenger William Dunne. This district also includes parts of Darien.

The city of Norwalk includes five districts in the State House of Representatives. Here are the results of each race:

  • In District 137, Democratic incumbent Chris Perone defeated Republican challenger Arthur Scialabba, according to It's Relevant.
  • In District 140, Democratic incumbent Bruce Morris was reelected after running unopposed.
  • In District 141, Republican incumbent Terrie Wood was reelected after running unopposed. This district also includes part of Darien.
  • In District 142, Republican Fred Wilms defeated Democrat Andy Garfunkel in a close race to fill the seat of retiring Republican Larry Cafero, according to the Hour. This district also includes part of New Canaan.
  • In District 143, Republican incumbent Gail Lavielle defeated Democratic challenger Keith Rodgerson. This district also includes part of Westport and Wilton.

In the race for Judge of Probate, Republican incumbent Anthony DePanfilis defeated Democratic challenger Darnell Crosland, according to The Hour. The Norwalk Probate District also includes Wilton.

Republican Registrar of Voters Karen Doyle Lyons and Democratic Registrar of Voters Stuart W. Wells III were both reelected.

All election results are unofficial until certified by the secretary of the state.
