Wilton To Vote On Acquiring 39.5 Acres Of Keiser Family Land

WILTON, Conn. -- Wilton First Selectman William Brennan announced a special Town Meeting will be held at the Wilton High School Clune Center on Tuesday, Nov. 19, at 7:30 p.m. to consider a acquiring 39.5 acres of Keiser Family Land.

The proposed acquisition would be paid for by issuing town bonds in an amount of no more than $2.2 million.

The land in the question is a conservation easement located at Cannon and Seeley Roads.

Machine voting will begin immediately after the meeting Nov. 19 and will continue Saturday, Nov. 23, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Clune Center.

Registered voters and Wilton property owners are welcome to vote on the proposal. Absentee ballots will be available at the Town Clerk's office, located at 238 Danbury Road, starting on Tuesday, Oct. 29, and must be returned by Friday, Nov. 22, at 4:30 p.m.

The Clune Center is located at 359 Danbury Road in Wilton.
