Wilton Voters Head To The Polls

WILTON, Conn -- Polls are open Tuesday for Wilton voters to cast their ballots in local, state and federal races.

Wilton's polling places will be open from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. The polling places for the town's three districts are listed below:

  • District 1: Wilton High School Clune Center, 395 Danbury Road, for the 143rd Assembly District, 26th State Senate, 4th Congressional District
  •  District 2: Cider Mill School Gym, 240 School Road, for the 125th Assembly District, 26th State Senate, 4th Congressional District
  • District 3: Middlebrook School Gym, 131 School Road, for the 143rd Assembly District, 26th State Senate, 4th Congressional District

Voters who are not registered still have a chance to vote by showing up at Town Hall Meeting Room B, between 6 a.m. and 8 p.m., Republican Registrar of Voters Tina Gardner said.

Voters must be U.S. citizens and have to have proof of Wilton residency, she said. As long as they get to the office by 8 p.m. they will be able to cast their vote, she said.

As of Saturday, there were 11,431 registered voters in town with 4,178 registered Republicans, 2,949 Democrats, 4,178 unaffiliated and 57 who are designated as "others."

All Wilton Schools will be closed Tuesday for Election Day.
