Fall In Love With History In Danbury On Valentine's Day

DANBURY, Conn. -- The Danbury Museum & Historical Society will offer free historic tours in honor of Valentine's Day on Saturday.

Tours of several historic buildings will be free at the following locations:

  • The Rider House (c. 1785).
  • The Dodd Hat Shop (c. 1790).
  • The Marian Anderson Studio.
  • The One Room Schoolhouse.

Don't forget to check out the latest exhibit at the Danbury Museum, "Collections, Community & Conversation."

The exhibit features an eclectic mix of private collections from greater Danbury residents. The exhibit is open from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Admission is free.

The Danbury Museum is open Wednesday through Friday from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. 

Guided tours are held only on Saturdays.
