“The goal of our weight loss education program is achievement of weight loss through modification of diet, exercise and eating behaviors in order to maintain a healthy lifestyle,” said Scarsdale Medical Group Nutritionist Elizabeth DeRobertis. “Whether you need to lose fifty pounds or those stubborn last five pounds, the staff at the Nutrition Center will help you achieve your weight loss goals.”
The 10-week program will feature weekly weigh-ins, logs for tracking food and physical activity, assistance in setting attainable goals and a series of education topics on snacking, dining out, emotional eating, savvy shopping and more.
Evening group sessions are from 6-7 p.m. starting Oct. 5 and are open to new members and alumni.
The Harrison daytime group is open to new members only and is from noon to 1 p.m. starting Oct. 11.
The weekend group's first session is from 9-10 a.m. Oct. 11 for the alumni group. A session for new members will be from 10-11 a.m.
All sessions take place at 600 Mamaroneck Ave.
