Norwalk Schools Closed Tuesday Due To Coming Storm

NORWALK, Conn. -- Schools in Norwalk were closed Tuesday in anticipation of the winter storm expected to arrive in the area.

Western Connecticut State University was also closed, delaying final exams until Wednesday. (Read more about its schedule for Tuesday here.)

Morning driving tests were canceled at the state Department of Motor Vehicles.

Snow was expected to begin falling by about 7 a.m., affecting the morning rush hour, with 2 to 4 inches total predicted. Connecticut, the Hudson Valley and the New York City region were under a Winter Weather Advisory until 6 p.m. Tuesday.
