The story, published Sunday, said 94 percent of Fairfield students graduate on time. The median income in the district is $120,000. Bridgeport, one of the state's poorest cities and its most populous district, has a 63 percent graduation rate.

The story came just days after Judge Thomas Moukawsher ruled that Connecticut’s method of distributing state aid for education is unconstitutional.
