“College Goal Sunday” will offer assistance to students and parents with completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid, known as FAFSA.
The FAFSA is the key to funding a college education and helping families overcome financial barriers that can prevent students from attending the institution they want to attend. Studies show that a student is 50 percent more likely to attend college if the FAFSA is completed.
Students who participate in College Goal can enter to win a $200 scholarship, regardless of whether they attend WCSU in the fall.

WCSU's Midtown campus is at 181 White St., Danbury.

CAPFAA is a nonprofit, professional organization for individuals actively engaged in the administration of financial aid for higher education within the State of Connecticut.
