On the day of graduation, students are expected to report to the Clune Auditorium at 4:15 p.m. Students are reminded to dress appropriately for the ceremony.

The graduation ceremony will face the north end of the Fujitani Field at Memorial Stadium. Seating is available on both the west and east bleachers. Handicapped access will be provided via golf carts located south of Memorial Stadium. In addition, there will be “easy access” seating behind the graduating seniors on the field as well as wheelchair access on the track.

Students are welcome to bring an unlimited number of guests to the outdoor ceremony.

For the procession, students will move from the high school and enter Memorial Stadium in pairings of their own choices.

Students are reminded that it is inappropriate to use beach balls, silly string, bubbles, etc. during all aspects of the ceremony, including speeches, musical performances, and while graduates' names are being announced.

Photographers will take pictures of students as they receive their diplomas and as they walk through a gateway designed for photographs.

Parents and others are asked to refrain from walking onto the field during the ceremony.

At the conclusion of the ceremony, there will be a recessional of faculty and students to Whitten Field. Guests are asked to remain in the bleachers until all faculty and students have left the stadium. Once the recessional is completed, families and guests can join students in the reception area. Once again, handicapped access will be provided via golf carts located south of Memorial Stadium.

In the event of severe weather, the ceremony will be moved to the Zeoli Fieldhouse with the reception following in the cafeteria.

Under these circumstances, there will be an eight ticket seating limit per family. A final decision on movement to the Fieldhouse will be made by 10 a.m. Saturday, June 18. Check the Wilton High School website at www.wiltonhighschool.org for any inclement weather announcements.
