WILTON, Conn. -- Two Wilton parents have said they plan on suing several town officials for personal injury and monetary damages caused by the poor air quality at Miller-Driscoll School, according to the Wilton Bulletin.

Christopher and Melissa Lowthert gave town officials a notice of claim on Tuesday, May 13. The notice of claim does not represent the filing of a lawsuit, but does indicate that legal action can be taken, the Wilton Bulletin reported.

An independent firm conducted a second round of air quality tests at the school and concluded last month that air and radon levels meet state standards.

The Lowherts' notice of claim, however, contends their children suffered injuries directly from the poor air quality at Miller-Driscoll school, the Wilton Bulletin said.

Lowthert's complained about how the school wanted to give them money ($300,000 or so) from the special education budget if they would agree to be quiet about the air quality issues. They could have taken the money and sent their kids to private schools but instead, they had the courage to question the use of special education money for another purpose. I think we need to let the process run its course and get to the truth before condemning them or school administrators or the maintenance staff for that matter.

And now we know. It was all about money from the get-go. All the hoopla was just a set up to get to this point. Talk about a frivolous law suit.

THERE ARE OBVIOUS ECONOMIC BENEFITS TO THE PRODUCTION OF THEIR GOODS IN CHINA OR ASIA, BUT SHOULD ALSO BE WELL AWARE OF THE QUALITY ISSUES THAT MAY ARISE. ALTHOUGH THE RACISM OF THE PAST ON SHODDY GOODS PRODUCED IN CHINA OR ASIA WERE MORE AMERICAN PROPAGANDA HARD FACTS.
