WILTON, Conn. -- Two Wilton parents have said they plan on suing several town officials for personal injury and monetary damages caused by the poor air quality at Miller-Driscoll School, according to the Wilton Bulletin.
Christopher and Melissa Lowthert gave town officials a notice of claim on Tuesday, May 13 . The notice of claim does not represent the filing of a lawsuit, but does indicate that legal action can be taken, the Wilton Bulletin reported.
An independent firm conducted a second round of air quality tests at the school and concluded last month that air and radon levels meet state standards.
The Lowherts' notice of claim, however, contends their children suffered injuries directly from the poor air quality at Miller-Driscoll school, the Wilton Bulletin said.
