Wilton Student Earns Degree From Centre College

WILTON, Conn. - A Wilton student received a degree at the Centre College’s 191st commencement held Sunday, May 25, at the college’s Norton Center for the Arts in Danville, Ky.

Will Herndon received a bachelor of science in mathematics. Herndon is the son of Gayle and Anne Herndon and is a graduate of Wilton High School.

A total of 325 seniors were granted degrees, a class that posted an impressive four-year graduation rate topping 84 percent -- the highest graduation rate among all Kentucky colleges and universities. Gov. Steven L. Beshear was this year's featured commencement speaker.
