Wilton Student Graduates From Creighton University

WILTON, Conn. -- Joseph Burgess of Wilton was among the graduates as Creighton University College of Arts and Sciences held its commencement ceremony on May 17 at the CenturyLink Center Omaha.

Burgess graduated with a bachelor of arts degree. He was among about 1,600 students who earned degrees during Creighton's spring commencement.

University President Timothy R. Lannon presided. Lannon, a 1973 graduate of the university, is the first alumnus to serve as president of Creighton. 

Creighton University in Omaha, Neb., enrolls 4,000 undergraduates and 4,000 graduate and professional students among nine schools and colleges.
