WILTON, Conn. -- A Wilton came out a winner as Washington College swept the Centennial Conference Offensive and Defensive Player of the Week Awards for women's lacrosse for the week of April 25-May 1.

Junior attacker Katherine Vincent of Wilton garnered conference offensive player and junior goalie Haylee Solomon of Wantagh, N.Y./Sanford H. Calhoun earned conference defensive player.

Vincent scored 11 goals and assisted on six others for 17 points in a 2-0 week for the Shorewomen. She tallied a career-high eight goals with two helpers for a personal-best 10 points in the 15-9 triumph at Swarthmore on Wednesday. On Friday versus McDaniel, she had three scores and four assists for seven points in a 17-5 victory.

Her 10-point performance at Swarthmore was the team's first performance of 10 or more points in a game since 2004.

Solomon posted a .579 save percentage and a 4.91 goals-against average in a pair of Shorewomen victories. She turned away 11 of 19 shots on goal in the two wins. The junior turned away seven shots versus McDaniel last Friday and totaled four saves at Swarthmore on Wednesday.

For Vincent, this is the second time she has been selected the conference's offensive player of the week as she captured the award previously for the first time two weeks ago on April 18.
