Wilton provided the platform for a major event in the arena of paddle tennis Saturday as 64 teams competed at the 28th annual Wilton Open. Players competed in A and B draws, and most of the teams hailed from Fairfield County. The event featured music from Wilton Steel, and lunch. Proceeds supported the Wilton YMCA.

A spectacular day...128 participants enjoyed a full day of paddle competition, sumptuous open-grill lunch, Wilton Steel music, St. Patrick's beverages and Kraken fun...the Wilton Y played the perfect host for one of the strongest fields in the tournament's 28 year history featuring 15 nationally ranked players...thanks to all the volunteers who pulled off a day participants will long remember...RTK.
