Wilton Eighth-Grader Selected For Prestigious National Lacrosse Academy

WILTON, Conn. — Dante Batista, a middle schooler from Wilton, has been selected to play in the 2016 Brine National Lacrosse Academy.

Dante, son of David and Jessica Batista, is a rising eighth-grader at Middlebrook School in Wilton.

Dante has been named as a 2016 Brine National All-Star and has been selected to represent Wilton at the 2016 Brine National Lacrosse Academy and Brine National Lacrosse Classic.

The event will be held in Richmond, Va., from July 19 to 22.

The Brine National Lacrosse Academy brings the top youth lacrosse players in the nation to one venue, where regional teams, coached by NCAA lacrosse coaches compete to become the 2016 National Champion.
