Wilton Gymnast Grabs 3rd At Level 8 State Championsips

WILTON, Conn. – Wilton’s Jessica Olin finished third all-around in the U.S. Gymnastics Connecticut Level 8 championships last weekend at Hamden Hall’s Beckerman Athletic Center.

Olin, a seventh-grader at Middlebrook School in Wilton, competes for Arena Gymnastics in Stamford.

Olin’s all-around total of 36.825 was third among all age groups in Level 8. She will represent Connecticut along with seven other gymnasts in the Superteam Regional Championships next month in Burlington, Mass.

Olin finished second on bars (9.2), third on balance beam (9.2), second on floor (9.35) and eighth on vault (8.875).
