WILTON, Conn. — Here is a tally of recent Wilton Little League action:

Single A – Clearview Capital Blue Claws 5, Drum Capital Iron Birds 1

The Blue Claws erupted for five runs in the third inning on singles by Mike Sullivan, Pearson Schlesinger, Neal Satsangi and Mickey Wilcox to pull ahead for good. The Iron Birds plated a run in the fourth, but left the bases loaded.

Ryan Johnson and Everett Andersen teamed up for four innings of one-run ball for the Blue Claws, with Ian Kineon and Daniel Gruseke providing solid catching behind the plate. Davis Wallon, James Vollmer and Ryan van Heyst pitched for the Iron Birds.

Double A – Village Market Thunder 9, Paul’s Prosperous Printing SeaDogs 3

The Thunder scored five times in the bottom of the second inning to pull away for the victory. The Thunder collected four hits and stole four bases in the inning thanks to Patrick Burke, Sean Soltis, Barrett Brown, Brian Rooney, Dominick Polito and Ryan Healey.

Healey drove in his second run of the game on an RBI double in the bottom of the fourth. Sean Purdy then drove in Healey with an RBI single.

The game started off as a back-and-forth battle, each team scoring in the first inning. Ethan Leinberger and Anthony Saldutti put the SeaDogs on the board with RBI singles. The Thunder answered right back in the bottom of the first on a two-run double by Purdy.

Dominick Polito pitched four solid innings for the Thunder, with Patrick Burke closing out the game in relief.
