Wilton Runner Wins Age Group At Prestigious New York Race

WILTON, Conn. -- Wilton runner Mary Zengo won her age group and finished fourth among all women in the Masters Division at Sunday’s Boilermaker 15K race in Utica, N.Y.

Zengo ran 1:00:39, a pace of 6:31 for the 9.3-mile race. She finished first in the 50-54 division and was fourth among women 40-and-up and earned $500.

Zengo was 24th among a women’s field of 5,376 runners. There were 11,576 finishers in the race.
