WILTON, Conn. – The Wilton White seventh-grade girls basketball team won its bracket in the season-ending Fairfield County Basketball League tournament last weekend.
Wilton defeated Danbury in the championship game, 46-18. Wilton beat St. Mary’s of Ridgefield and St. Theresa of Trumbull in earlier playoff games to reach the finals. Wilton finished the season with a 11-12 record.
Players on the team are Anna Cocoros, Claire Gulbin, Alexa Hirn, Elizabeth Lynch, Emme McClintock, Lauren Robertson, Thaise Sudano, Caroline Sweeny, Emily Tuin and Molly Ward.
