Wilton Swimmers Shine In North Carolina Meet

WILTON, Conn. – A team of swimmers from the Wilton Wahoos competed at the Capital Classic last month in North Carolina and qualified for the YMCA Nationals in their individual events.

Wahoo swimmers who qualified for nationals were Courtney Gilroy, Grace Hendee, Sean Higgins, Stephen Holmquist, Maggie Kauffeld, Tommy Kealy, Bobby McDowell and Stephanie Moriarty.

The meet featured some of the top swimmers in the country from North and South Carolina, Virginia, Massachusetts, Maryland, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Delaware and Connecticut.
