Wilton Wahoos Win 27th Straight YMCA State Crown

WILTON, Conn. -- The Wilton Wahoos youth swim team won its 27th straight YMCA state championship earlier this month.

The Wahoos compiled 3,517 points to easily outdistance the Westport Water Rats, who compiled 1,948. The Cheshire Sea Dogs were third with 1,884.5.

In addition, after a steady climb within the silver and bronze medal club standings, the Wilton Y Wahoos have risen to gold medal recognition with a 12th place finish this year in the USA Swimmers Club Excellence program.
