Wilton's Brynne Parsons Wins College Track Honor

WILTON, Conn. – Wilton’s Brynn Parsons, a freshman sprinter at Johns Hopkins University in Maryland, was named the Centennial Conference Track Athlete of the Week after a strong performance last weekend.

Parsons won the 60 meter and 200 meter dashes in the Seamus McElligot Invitational. She finished the 60 in 8.22, and the 200 in 26.97. Earlier this season, Parsons set the Hopkins freshman record in the 60 with a time of 8.15.

Parsons ran for the Wilton High School track and field team and for the CT Elite squad coached by Wilton’s Kevin Foley.
