GHS Students Learned Lockdown Wasn't A Drill As Police Swept Into School GREENWICH, Conn. -- When the lockdown alarm went off at Greenwich High School at noontime Wednesday, 12th-grader Scott Rusk and his fellow students thought it was just a drill. Greenwich Police Investigating Threat Written On Bathroom Wall At GHS GREENWICH, Conn. — A threat written on a bathroom stall wall caused a nearly four-hour lockdown of Greenwich High School before students and staff were given the all clear at 3:55 p.m. Wednesday. Greenwich High Students Dismissed After Threat Causes School Lockdown GREENWICH, Conn. -- Students are being dismissed from Greenwich High School just before 4 p.m. Wednesday after a three-hour lockdown due to a threat reported at the school. Police said there were no injuries and the investigation was continuing. Car Burglars Call Westport Police on Themselves, Get Arrested WESTPORT, Conn. -- How embarrassing. A heavyset man stole about $350 in dietary supplements from a Walgreens last month, Monroe Police said as they released a surveillance photo of the man in the pharmacy. Norwalk Registered Sex Offender Charged With Sex Assault Of Child NORWALK, Conn. -- A registered sex offender who was charged last year with severely abusing a 2-year-old girl after luring her family from California is facing a new sex abuse charge, police said. Witness Tails Teen In Car To Help New Canaan Police Make Arrest NEW CANAAN, Conn. -- A 17-year-old New Canaan resident is facing a pair of drug charges and driving with a suspended license after being spotted smoking marijuana near a school playground Sunday afternoon. Norwalk Middle School Student Faces Charges Over Bomb Threat NORWALK, Conn. — A student at Nathan Hale Middle School in Norwalk was charged after a bomb threat was emailed to a school administrator Monday morning, police said.
