Yes, also read about the assistance. It was an amount for the entire family over a course of years (5, 10, don't remember), but yes they, like so many others received assistance to do as they please. Search google and you will find a few references. View Comment
He had a valid permit, but seized anyway... What a country we have become.
Secondly, mcmanager should have delt with his problem instead of ignoring him and calling the police. View Comment
I have ALWAYS been against privatizing natural monopolies. This is my number one reason. A profit seeking business willl always require higher rates than government employees, and no you do NOT get any better water, or electricity, or roads once it is privatized. View Comment
Right on the money. To all the voters that put the current group in charge, PLEASE look up the CT state income tax and see that how that was supposed to be temporary. This will be a new additional tax for the junkies in Hartford to spend like drunken sailors. View Comment
@garden, she had already pulled over and was waiting for help. The "friend" then called police after she was pulled over and no longer at risk. The friend could have gone to the scene and picked everyone up instead of sending the police. And then deal with the situation when the woman was sober. View Comment
yes, the daughter is a hero. She made good choices in a difficult situation. She possible called the wrong friend, but she did not know that. The daughter should be proud of herself and I suspect that her dad will tell her that. View Comment
NOT a family friend. Since FF had already convinced driver to pull over a real family friend would have left the house to help, not just called the police to deal with it. View Comment
the facts do not matter. They will put in tolls as they are junkies and need a new revenue stream.
They removed tolls due to safety, but if it comes to the publics money or the publics safety I know which one will be chosen, they rest is just for show. View Comment
