Clear Skies And Cool Temps Expected For Halloween Night In Wilton

FAIRFIELD COUNTY, Conn. -- You might want to bring a jacket while taking the kids out trick or treating on Halloween night, as temperatures are expected to drop into the mid 30s in parts of Fairfield County.

Tuesday is expected to be breezy and dry with sunny skies, according to the National Weather Service. Temperatures will be cooler than the past few days, though closer to seasonable norms, with a high near 55 predicted.

Halloween night will be clear, and the breezy conditions will gradually subside this evening. Temperature will drop to a low of around 34, and some patchy frost is possible.

Clouds will increase Wednesday, which will be partly sunny with a high near 53. There is a 30 percent chance of showers Wednesday night, mainly after 8 p.m. Otherwise the night will be mostly cloudy with a low around 47.

There is a 30 percent chance of showers on Thursday, mainly before noon. The rest of the day will be mostly cloudy, with a high near 66. There will be a south wind between 6 and 10 mph. Thursday night will be mostly cloudy with a low around 53.

Temperatures will warm up a bit on Friday, which will be partly sunny, with a high near 70. Friday night will be partly cloudy, with a low around 42.
