Another day, another snowstorm in Wilton. The 1 to 3 inches expected to fall Tuesday morning caused the National Weather Service to issue three Special Weather Statements warning of the dangerous conditions on the roadways.
Roads are cold and snow is expected to stick right away, the statement says. Along with slippery roads, visibility is expected to be about one-quarter mile, and drivers were urged to use extreme caution.
The snow is expected to taper off later this afternoon, but it wont be gone long as the National Weather Service has also issued a Winter Storm Watch for 9 a.m. Wednesday until 10 a.m. Thursday. During that time 6 to 12 inches of snow and wind gusts as high as 30 mph are expected.
