FAIRFIELD COUNTY, Conn. — It's hard to believe that Monday is the first day of spring with the remains of this week's blizzard piled up. And winter will make one last blast this weekend — it's just not certain how much snow it will bring across Fairfield County.

There is still some uncertainty surrounding the projected snowfall totals for the storm that will impact the area Saturday night into Sunday morning, but the Saturday update from the National Weather Service says the likelihood is for less accumulation than what was projected Friday.

However, there is the chance for more. (See both maps above.)

The chances of seeing 2 inches or more of accumulation is 50 percent. But there is still a chance of up to 4 to 5 inches of snowfall.
