Author Mary Higgins Clark To Thrill In Wilton

WILTON, Conn. – International bestselling suspense author Mary Higgins Clark will be at the Wilton Library Friday to meet with fans and talk about her newest novel, “Daddy’s Gone A Hunting,” a story about two sisters and their family’s dark secret.

Already on the New York Times’ best sellers list, “Daddy’s Gone A Hunting” is Clark’s 32nd novel. In the novel, the lives of two sisters, Kate and Hannah Connelly, are threatened after a family secret is exposed.

In addition to 32 novels, Clark has written three collections of short stories, a memoir and co-authored five suspense novels with her daughter, Carol Higgins Clark. More than 100 million copies of her books are in print in the United States alone.

The “Queen of Suspense,” as she’s known, has also penned two children’s books.

Clark will be in the library’s Brubeck Room from 7 to 8:30 p.m. A question and answer session will follow her discussion. Copies of “Daddy’s Gone A Hunting” will be available for purchase and signing, courtesy of New Canaan’s Elm Street Books.
