Larsen has been a board member of the Wilton Family Y for several years, and serves on the Executive Committee and Program & Marketing Committee. He has played a key role in creating membership promotion concepts and direct mail materials that highlight the benefits of belonging to the Y. Larsen was also instrumental in developing the terms of the Management Agreement entered into by the Wilton Y and the Norwalk Y last June.

“Clay has been an integral part of Wilton’s volunteer leadership team for a long time, giving generously of his time and talents," Y Executive Director and Chair of the Alliance Bob McDowell said in a statement. "He is a pleasure to work with, and has contributed mightily to our success in sustaining the Y mission in our communities. We sincerely appreciate his dedication to our organization.”

Overall, the Alliance dinner honored 16 outstanding volunteers from YMCAs across the state as well as three legislators who have advocated for the Y at the Capitol.
