Wilton Is Home To A 'Super ZIP Code'

FAIRFIELD COUNTY, Conn. -- Feeling rich? Fairfield County is home to 19 "super ZIP codes," signifying high wealth and education, including five in Greenwich, according to a Washington Post article.

Super ZIP codes are the ones in which the percentile ranks in income and college education average at least 95, according to a formula devised by the Washington Post. It identified 650 super ZIP codes across the country.

In addition to Greenwich, there are two super ZIP codes in Fairfield and one each in Stamford, Darien, New Canaan, Norwalk, Westport, Wilton, Ridgefield, Easton, Weston and Redding.

ZIP codes that had the highest possible score of 99 include Old Greenwich (06870), New Canaan (06840), Darien (06820), Rowayton (06853), Wilton (06897), Westport (06880) and Weston (06883)
