Monday, June 25

Wilton Public Library’s Summer Reading Kickoff: 10 a.m. Children of all ages are invited to stop by the library between Monday and July 6 to register for the summer reading program, Medieval Summer Knights Read. During this registration period, all participants will receive a raffle ticket for their choice of Lego Kingdom: King’s Castle or a family four pack to Medieval Times in Lyndhurst, N.J. Two of each item will be raffled off. Registration required in-person. Wilton Public Library, 137 Old Ridgefield Road.

Wilton Planning and Zoning Commission: 7:15 p.m. The commission will have its regular meeting. Wilton Town Hall, 238 Danbury Road.

Tuesday, June 26

Red Cross Babysitting Training at Wilton Library: 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. This is a two-day workshop conducted by the Red Cross for students ages 11-15. Upon completion of the course, all students will receive a babysitting certification. The cost of the training is $85 and it is due before class. To register, call Susan at (203) 762-3950, ext. 243. Maximum of 12 per class. Students should bring drinks and/or snacks to the class. The second class will be Wednesday. Wilton Public Library, 137 Old Ridgefield Road.

Art Adventures at Wilton Library: 3-4 p.m . Children in grades 3-5 are invited to join in this weekly art exploration program. Each week, students will learn about an artist or artistic movement then create their own art project inspired by it. Please note it may get messy, so please wear appropriate clothing that may get dirty. Registration required. Entry is $5. Wilton Public Library, 137 Old Ridgefield Road.

Wednesday, June 27

Sleepytime Stories at Wilton Library: 6:30 p.m. Come and enjoy sleepy lullabies and stories in your pajamas. Slippers, teddy bears and blankets are welcome. The program for children ages 2-6 and children under age 4 must be accompanied by an adult. Wilton Public Library, 137 Old Ridgefield Road.

Thursday, June 28

Wilton Inland Wetlands Commission: 7:30 p.m. The commission will have its regular meeting. Wilton Town Hall, 238 Danbury Road.

Friday, June 29

Concert at the Trackside Teen Center: 7:30 p.m. Visit the center for performances by Poema, the Second Advance, Almost Legendary, Theatre Breaks Loose and Ellie Mendola. Tickets are $10 at the door or $8 at the Trackside website. 15 Station Road.

The Summer Theater of New Canaan presents My Fair Lady: General admission seats start at $20 for open lawn seating and picnics. Performances will be at 8 p.m. Thursdays, Friday and Saturdays and 3 p.m. Sundays through July 7. Waveny Park, New Canaan.
