A devoted mother, Laura left her business career to raise her children. Laura became a Certified yoga instructor in 2003 after completing the 200-hour certification program from Kripalu. She founded her own yoga business and successfully balanced her family life and yoga business.

She is survived by her high school sweetheart and husband for 20 years, Tom Schrader; children Mitchell and Ashley; brother, Steven Harlacker and his wife Amy; and by her aunt and godmother Diane Sisk and her family.
