The arrest stems from a fatal overdose on Alexander Street in Greenwich on July 8, 2017, according to Greenwich Patch. A 34-year-old victim was found dead at the scene, and an investigation determined that the drugs in the overdose had been supplied by Christopher F. Brokaw, 42, of Stamford, Greenwich Patch reported.

Police told Patch that Brokaw had tried to cover up his involvement in the fatal overdose. A warrant was issued for his arrest, and he was arrested on Wednesday and charged with first-degree manslaughter and tampering with evidence, according to Patch.

Brokaw was held on a $250,000 bond and will appear in court on Jan. 31, Patch reported.
